REFERENCES IN TEXT
The enactment of the Copyright Royalty and Distribution Reform
Act of 2004, referred to in subsecs. (a) and (b)(1)(B), means the
enactment of Pub. L. 108-419, which was approved Nov. 30, 2004.
The effective date of the Copyright Royalty and Distribution
Reform Act of 2004, referred to in subsec. (b)(3)(A), is the
effective date of Pub. L. 108-419, which is 6 months after Nov. 30,
2004, subject to transition provisions, see section 6 of Pub. L.
108-419, set out as an Effective Date; Transition Provisions note
under section 801 of this title.
PRIOR PROVISIONS
A prior section 804 was renumbered section 803 of this title
prior to the general amendment of this chapter by Pub. L. 108-419.
