EFFECTIVE DATE
Section 4(d) of Pub. L. 95-270 provided that: "This Act [enacting
this section, sections 2567 to 2569 of this title, and provisions
set out as a note below] shall take effect October 1, 1978."
SHORT TITLE
Section 1 of Pub. L. 95-270 provided: "That this Act [enacting
this section, sections 2567 to 2569 of this title, and provisions
set out as a note above] may be cited as the 'Hubert H. Humphrey
Institute of Public Affairs and the Everett McKinley Dirksen
Congressional Leadership Research Center Assistance Act'."
TRANSFER OF FUNCTIONS
"Secretary" substituted in text for "Commissioner" pursuant to
sections 301(a)(1) and 507 of Pub. L. 96-88, which are classified
to sections 3441(a)(1) and 3507 of this title and which transferred
functions of Commissioner of Education to Secretary of Education.
